Last Updated: August 19, 2026

At gamingforgaming.com (operated by Cosmo Fame Limited), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors and managers. This Privacy Policy document contains the types of information that is collected and recorded by gamingforgaming.com and exactly how we use it to power our simulation engine.

By accessing or using our Service, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. Please read this policy carefully.

1. Information We Collect

We collect several types of information from and about users of our Service, specifically tailored to run our fantasy sports platform:

1.1 Personal Information: When you register a manager account, we may collect the following:

  • Name or username
  • Email address
  • Age verification information (strictly verifying 19+ eligibility)
  • Country of residence

1.2 Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with our Service and match engine, including:

  • IP address and device information
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and time spent on tactical boards
  • Gameplay statistics, playbook preferences, and simulation history

1.3 Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to:

  • Remember your tactical setups and user preferences
  • Analyze Service usage and server load during live simulations
  • Prevent fraudulent activity and bot manipulation
  • Deliver targeted updates and offers (where applicable)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for various purposes:

  • To provide, power, and maintain our physics match engine (Performance of contract).
  • To notify you about changes to our platform, database updates, or your subscription (Performance of contract).
  • To allow you to participate in interactive features and live telemetry (Consent).
  • To provide fast customer support (Legitimate interest).
  • To gather analysis to improve our spatial compression and fatigue algorithms (Legitimate interest).
  • To monitor usage and detect technical issues within the simulation (Legitimate interest).

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information in the following situations:

  • 3.1 Service Providers: We may employ third-party companies to facilitate our Service, provide the Service on our behalf, or assist in analyzing how our platform is used.
  • 3.2 Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information when required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
  • 3.3 Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, or acquisition, we may transfer your information to the acquiring entity.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including data encryption, regular security assessments, and secure server infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

6. Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on your location, you have certain rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access and Portability: Request a copy of your personal data.
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Restriction: Request that we limit how we use your data.
  • Object: Object to our processing of your data.
  • Withdraw Consent: Withdraw your consent at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is strictly not intended for anyone under 19 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 19. If we discover a minor has provided us with personal data, we will delete the account and data immediately.

8. Legal Bases for Processing

We process personal information only where a recognised legal basis applies:

  • Performance of a contract: running your account, the simulator and your subscription.
  • Consent: optional analytics and product news, which you may withdraw at any time.
  • Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention and improving the match engine.
  • Legal obligation: accounting records and responses to lawful requests.

9. International Data Transfers

Cosmo Fame Limited is established in Hong Kong and our infrastructure providers operate servers in several jurisdictions, so your information may be transferred outside Canada. Where that happens we put contractual safeguards in place requiring protection comparable to the one described in this policy, and we remain accountable for the information we transfer.

10. Analytics and Third-Party Tools

We use aggregated analytics to understand which stadiums, playbooks and telemetry views are actually used. These tools receive pseudonymised identifiers and usage events, never your password or payment details. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertising networks.

11. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

The match engine simulates fixtures from squad and tactical inputs; it does not profile you as a person and produces no decision with a legal or similarly significant effect. Automated checks run only to detect bot activity and duplicate accounts, and any restriction that follows can be reviewed by a person on request.

12. Marketing Communications

Service messages about billing, security and database updates are part of the contract and cannot be switched off. Optional product news is sent only with your consent, and every such message carries an unsubscribe link. Withdrawing consent stops marketing but not essential service notices.

13. Data Breach Notification

We maintain an incident response procedure covering detection, containment and assessment. If a breach is likely to create a significant risk to your rights, we notify the relevant supervisory authority and the affected managers without undue delay, describing what happened, which data was involved and what we are doing about it.

14. Canadian Privacy Rights

Managers in Canada may exercise rights under PIPEDA and applicable provincial legislation, including access to their personal information, correction of inaccuracies, and a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Residents of Quebec additionally hold rights of data portability and de-indexing under provincial law.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the platform develops. The Last Updated date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes are announced in the manager dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means the revised policy applies.
